Vivo launched V5, a selfie-focused smartphone in the ‘V series’ in India last year with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 5p lens. It already teased the high-end version called the V5 Plus during the launch, later it announced that it will launch the phone in India on January 23rd. Now the phone is available for pre-order in Malaysia and the specifications of the smartphone are detailed.
Xiaomi last week confirmed that it will be launching a new product on January 19th, which will likely be the Redmi Note 4. Now Flipkart has announced that it will be exclusively available on its store. The teaser says All New All-Rounder is Coming to Flipkart and also mentions Ravindra Jadeja. Lenovo launched the Z2 Plus in India starting at Rs. 17,999 as the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 820 SoC. Now the smartphone has received up to Rs. 3,000 price cut and starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the 4GB RAM with 64GB version that was launched for Rs. 19,999 has received a Rs. 2,500 price cut and now costs Rs. 17,499. ACT Fibernet by ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) launched 250Mbps plan for business users in Bengaluru back in 2015, later it revised the plan by increasing the FUP from 1TB to 1.25TB, recently the plan has 2TB for the same price and is called ACT SME Phenomenal Plus. These features were first rolled out for driver partners in Bangalore and will now be available for hundreds of thousands of driver partners in 29 cities across India. After rolling out pilots in several cities, Airtel Payments Bank, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel today rolled out its banking services at 250,000 banking points in all the 29 states across the country. Airtel retail stores across the country will also function as banking points, and customers will be able to open savings accounts, deposit and withdraw cash across any of these banking points.
