Vodafone launched the Opera Web Pass for their users in India earlier this week. Today, Idea Cellular has tied-up with Opera Software to launch Idea Web Pass, that lets users enjoy customized, time-based mobile internet packages within the Opera Mini browser. S Mobility has launched Spice Smart Flo Poise Mi-451, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone in the Smart Flo series. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Vodafone India has partnered with Opera Software to bring web pass services for Indian customers. Opera Web Pass was announced back in 2012, and lets operators offer time or site specific, mobile internet offerings to their customers. This will encourage new users to get online using their mobile devices and also help increase data usage among the existing users, believes Vodafone and Opera. BlackBerry Z10 had already received a price cut in India last year, few months after it was launched at a price tag of Rs. 43,490. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its foray into the Indian market, BlackBerry has cut the price of the BlackBerry Z10 to Rs. 17,990 for a limited period. Last year the company announced EMI schemes for the Z10 and up to Rs. 11000 discount on the Z10 in exchange for old phones. Samsung introduced the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 with a huge 12.2-inch screen at the CES 2014 last month. It was launched in India at the Samsung Asia Forum 2014 in Bali earlier this week at a price tag of Rs. 64,900. We got to check out the tablet at the event. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in India at a price tag of Rs. 40,900, at the Samsung Forum Asia 2014 in Bali couple of days back. It went on pre-order on the same day at the launch price, but Samsung has suddenly reduced the price of the device, that is available for pre-order at Rs. 38,990 on the official eStore. It crossed 5 million users in just four months after its launch on 12th December 2012 and has tripled its user base within 9 months. The cross-platform messaging app that is targeted at youth introduced Last Seen Privacy, a new feature that lets users choose to share their ‘Last Seen’ and ‘Status Updates’ with a chosen set of friends.

Micromax unveiled the Canvas Knight A350 at an event in Russia last month. The company has announced that the smartphone would hit the Indian market soon and has also released a teaser video. The Canvas Knight has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 2 GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
