Yesterday I was invited to the premiere of The Commuter at Aqua Nueve, in Soho London. The short film stars Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Pamela Anderson, Ed Westwick and Charles Dance, and is directed by the McHenry Brothers. The premiere was attended by Charles Dance, Pamela Anderson, Peta’s Dan Matthews and Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5.

Ever since the launch of Walkman and Cybershot branded Sony Ericsson phones, we have been hearing about the rumours of the PlayStation/PSP phone. But back in March we brought to you news that it might be launched this time for real. And yes the news is right as we now have the first real pictures of a Playstation phone.
Let me introduce you to Markus Gassenbauer. Markus is a very good friend of mine, hobby photographer (far more advanced than me) and interested in all kinds of Tech. We meet up every now and then for some tech talk and although he has an addiction to Android, Markus also likes Nokia. He was one of the lucky Guys to get invited to one of the Nokia N8 Demo evenings with me and was very surprised of how well it works. Although he doesn’t blog anywhere, he voices his Opinions on Twitter, where you can follow him as @3dmg. Last Sunday was one of the days where i met Markus again, to have a closer look at my orange Nokia N8. This resulted in a picture Gallery he did with his Canon EOS 550D, and what can i say, i let the pictures speak for themselves! Fantastic Stuff!

According to a report by Register , the Symbian Foundation might be shut down soon. The Symbian Foundation is a non-profit body which “provides ,manages and unifies the Symbian platform for download and development.” In short, the foundation acts as an enabler but does not develop the platform themselves.Since Nokia is the only major manufacturer to still support Symbian, the importance of this separate entity seems to fade away. Spice Mobiles today launched the India’s first 3D phone called View-D. The View-D phone features auto-stereoscopic display which will allow the mobile phone users to experience images, videos and the interface in 3D without the 3D glasses. This is a first phone with auto-stereoscopic display and it comes with with stereo surround sound and dual speakers. This phone also allow the users to switch between 2D/3D display. The GingerBread man just arrived at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View according to a official video on the Android Developers account. The next major release of Android is expected to be Android 2.3 codenamed GingerBread. The software update must be coming soon as a new guest has arrived at the Google Plex. The features of the new Android version are still not known and we have only seen a leaked screenshot so far

Garmin , one of the most popular GPS Navigation system manufacturers in the world, has teamed up with Asus to bring several cellphones with top-notch GPS performance. Their latest model , the A10 , is now being released in India. It runs on the Android 2.1 OS. The phone is upgradeable to Froyo ie Android 2.2 and will get an update soon.
