Telltale Games who are the mind behind highly successful narratively-driven ‘The Walking Dead’ game today has announced a nearly 90% layoffs with estimated 250 employees let go of their duties. The remaining 25 employees will finish the Netflix “Minecraft: Story Mode” interactive series. The company is calling this a majority studio closure. At the Gamescom 2018, Microsoft announced that popular ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG)’ game is now out of preview program and the full product release; 1.0 will be released on September 4th. The full PUBG 1.0 release will include the debut of the Sanhok map; inspired by the islands across Southeast Asia. After testing for few months, Gameloft has released Asphalt 9: Legends, a new racing game globally. It features a top roster of real hypercars from renowned car manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and W Motors. You can complete over 800 events in Career mode and race against up to 7 opponents in multiplayer.
PUBG is consistently releasing a fresh new update since it launched back in March. In May it rolled out the much talked 0.5.0 update and in June it released the 0.6.0 which is currently the stable release. Though it tests the upcoming stable release before it rolls out, the beta of the game is not so easy to find for everyone who might be interested. Niantic Studios today previewed Niantic Real World Platform that it is working on. In fact, this is the first time the company is giving an update of this nature publicly. Supercell, creators of popular Clash of Clans and Clash Royale games announced Brawl Stars, a new 3v3 multiplayer shooter game back in June last year, exact a year later, the company has soft launched the game in Canada, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau and Hong Kong.
