HMD Global has started rolling out Android 11 update for its Nokia 8.3 5G, which makes it the first Nokia phone to get the update. The company back in October said that the phone will get the update in Q4 2020 to Q1 2021. Android 11 brings lets managing conversations across multiple messaging apps all in one place and Nokia smartphones on Android 11 will reset the permissions of apps that haven’t been used in a while, allowing only recent apps access to personal data. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India about two years ago. The device has already received one major Android update, that is Android 10. It’s certain that the Note 7 Pro will not receive an Android update further. Update: January 7, 2021: realme has now announced realme UI 2.0 Open Beta program for realme Narzo 20 users in India. Users can head over to Settings > Software Update > Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner > Trial Version > Submit your details > Apply Now. As soon as the application procedure is completed, users will receive Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 update on their device.
OnePlus has finally released Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 update. This comes after OxygenOS 11 stable update for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones that rolled out back in October last year.
