OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 update brings camera improvements, May Android security patch


OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones are getting new OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 update that brings several camera improvements including improved HDR effect and improved white balance performance. The update also improves charging performance, keyboard issue faced by select users and Network improvements.

Several OnePlus 9 Pro users are reporting that they are still facing heating issues with the phone which is a main concern since the launch. Hope it will be addressed in future updates.

The update is about 130MB in size and also brings the Android security patch for May, 2021. As usual, OnePlus said that the OTA will be incremental with a small percentage of users now, and broader rollout in a few days. Check out the complete changelog below.
