Apple introduces iPhone 6s with 3D force touch display and 12MP iSight camera

It’s that time of a year where will Apple unveils the S version of the iPhone and the tradition has continued with the introduction of iPhone 6s. The Cupertino based company has announced the successor of the iPhone 6 at its special event in San Francisco.

The Apple iPhone 6s carries the same design language as that of its predecessor, but the company has used entirely new aluminium, custom Apple alloy in the constructions. The newest iPhone has the same 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display and has the same resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels as that of the iPhone 6. However, the new model has the Force Touch technology underneath, which offers a whole new of interaction just like on Apple Watch. Apple iPad mini 4 announced, starts at $399

Apple introduced the iPad mini 4 along with the iPad Air Pro at its event in California. It has the same 7.9 inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution seen on last year’s iPad mini 3 with Retina Display, but this has Apple A8X chip with M8 motion co-processor, compared to old A7 chip in the mini 2 and mini 3, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and other internals similar to the iPad Air 2.

Apple iPad Pro with 12.9-inch (2732 x 2048) display, A9X chip official, starts at $799

Apple just announced the iPad Pro, a huge tablet with a 12.9-inch display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels at its event. It has a new A9X, Apple’s 3rd generation 64-bit chip with 2x memory bandwidth, 2x storage performance and 1.8x faster performance than the A8X in the Air 2. It is just 6.9mm thick, which is just 0.8mm thicker compared to the iPad Air 2. Twitter for Windows 10 updated with group DMs, multiple accounts and more

Twitter has updated its Windows 10 app with a number of features. The app has finally received features which were already present on its mobile apps.

The Twitter app for Windows 10 now gets group messaging feature that allows users to direct message (DM) with more than one person and lets you add multiple contacts to a group chat. You can start a group chat with any of your followers, but those individuals don’t have to follow each other to participate in your chat. Next up, the app now supports multiple accounts which means you can add and quickly switch between multiple Twitter accounts right from within the app.

Users can now comment on other people’s Tweets with the Quote Tweet feature and view and subscribe to lists. The update brings a new Happening Now section which should keep you up on whatever’s trending at all times. Finally, Now unsent Tweets are saved into drafts folder that can be used later. Twitter had released the native Windows 10 app in July this year.

Google has released its monthly Android distribution update for the month of September. The latest numbers reveal that Android Lollipop is now present on 21% of all Android devices. This is up from 18.1% since last month and 10% in May.

YU has officially launched YUNIQUE, the company’s latest budget smartphone, after the registration page went live early. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi, is powered by a Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on stock Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It doesn’t run on Cyanogen OS out of the box like other YU smartphones, but you can upgrade to Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) by heading to YU service centres for free, flashable ROM will be available in future. It features a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
