Apple now selling unlocked variants of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus

It’s been around 2 weeks since the new Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus went on sale and now Apple are offering unlocked (sim-free) version of the device in USA through their online store. As we already know, the contract-free iPhone 6s is priced at $649 for the 16GB base variant, $749 for the 64GB variant and the 128GB variant would cost $849. The contract-free iPhone 6s Plus is priced at $749 for the 16GB base variant, $849 for the 64GB variant and the 128GB variant would cost $949.

Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus units will have varying battery life based on the chipset used

Apple is using the really powerful A9 chipset in the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The chipset is sourced from Samsung and TSMC which are two different manufacturers of chipsets. Apparently, thebattery life of you iPhone 6s or 6s Plus will depend on which chipset your particular phone is running.

It was announced back in July along with the Moto X Play that was launched in India recently starting at Rs. 18,499 and packs a 5.7-inch (1440×2560 pixels) Quad HD display, is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) OS, has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash 4K video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.
