Foursquare has updated its Swarm app for Android and iPhone with new messages feature. This lets you send a message to a friend, a group or all your nearby friends, even if they don’t have Swarm, says the company. It also shows where they are on a map when you are messaging with someone so that you can coordinate with them easily. HERE Maps released for iPhone

HERE Maps for iPhone

HERE has launched the HERE Maps for iPhone finally. Unlike the HTML5-based maps that was released back in 2012, the is a full app that has been created from the ground up. Apart from the walking, transit and driving directions and full turn-by-turn voice guidance with spoken street names, this also has offline mode that lets you use all these features offline. HERE Maps was released for Android last year and it came out of Beta last month.

Apple has now sold 700 million iPhones!

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook at the company’s ‘Spring Forward’ event in San Francisco revealed that they have now sold 700 million iPhones across the globe. The Cupertino giant has achieved the feat in just a little more than seven years after first iPhone went on sale.

Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5S price increase by up to Rs. 2500 in India

Apple has increased the price of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5S smartphones in India. The increase price could be the result of increase in excise duty on mobile phones imported into India, which was increased to 12.5% from existing 6% in the recent Union Budget. Swap app for iPhone has been updated to version 1.2 that adds several new features that includes option to add videos from iPhone’s camera roll, group images and videos together, or create an interactive photo stack, Add bullets and numbering, emphasis, and hyperlinks to text and more. Sway app got expanded to U.S, U.K., Canada and India last month. Dropbox has updated is mobile apps on Android and iOS that allows users to open shared links directly in the mobile app. When you open a shared link on your mobile device while running the latest version of Dropbox, you will be able to open the file or folder directly inside the app, giving you a full view of documents and photos.
