Gmail for iOS updated quick notifications, archive and more


Gmail has updated its iOS app with a couple of new features. The latest additions bumps the Gmail iOS app to version 4.0 and app makes it more easy to use.

First up, the app now offers quick notifications that allows users to reply to a message directly from the notification itself. This saves the time for a user to open the Gmail app as it can done right from top of the screen. Moving on, the update also adds a feature allowing you to attach photos, documents and link to Gmail directly from another app.

Users can even open Gmail attachments in incoming email in other iOS apps using the iOS “Open in..” feature. This is possible via the new attachment viewer. All these features are aimed at accessing important actions easily thereby saving users time. The latest update is available on the Apple App Store.
