Lenovo today introduced the PHAB 2 and PHAB 2 Plus phablets at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 in San Francisco. These are the successors of last year’s PHAB and PHAB Plus smartphones. The high-end PHAB 2 Plus has a 6.4-inch 1080p 2.5D Curved Glass display and comes with dual 13-megapixel rear cameras with Futjitsu Milbeaut ISPs, Laser AF, PDAF, LED flash. It has several features such as refocus, background swap,extreme manual settingsand Augmented-Realityspecial effectsIt also has a fingerprint sensor. Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro Tango-enabled smartphone with 6.4-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM announced for $499

Lenovo just announced PHAB 2 Pro, the world’s first tango (project tango previously) smartphone for consumers at the Tech World 2016 in San Francisco in partnership with Google, as it had promised earlier this year at the CES. It has four cameras that includes a 16-megapixel RGB camera, a depth camera, a motion tracking camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera for Tango’s 3D mapping technology to understand the world around you. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Google said to follow Apple and offer larger revenue cuts for developers

Earlier today, Apple detailed a number of changes that are coming to its App Store which includes a 85-15 percent revenue cut. Now, Google is following Apple’s bandwagon and tweaking Play Store revenue policy, according to a latest report from Re/code.

Intex has launched Cloud Glory 4G, the company’s latest budget 4G phone. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a quad-core MT6735M SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has dual SIM support, similar to most other Intex smartphones. Most of the specs are similar to Intex Cloud Fame that was launched last month.

LeEco just launched Le 2, the company’s latest smartphone in the Le 2 series. It was introduced in China back in April and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, has 3GB of RAM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, but the Indian version has a Snapdragon 652 SoC instead of MediaTek Helio X20 SoC in the Chinese version. Coolpad today announced that it has sold over 5 lakh units of Note 3 Lite smartphones in India. To celebrate the milestone, it has launched limited edition Gold variant of Coolpad Note 3 Lite. The phone was launched in the country back in January this year in Black and Champagne White colors at Rs. 6,999. Apart from the new color, other specifications are similar to the original Coolpad Note 3 Lite.
