Nextbit has launched Robin, the company’s cloud-first smartphone in India, as it had promised. By merging cloud and on-board storage, the Robin backs up apps and photos and intelligently archives the stuff that are not frequently used and easily restores items when you need them. It packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display, is powered by Snapdragon 808 chip with 3GB RAM and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). Micromax has announced Canvas Selfie 4, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone, along with the Canvas Bolt Selfie, a budget selfie smartphone. It packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Sony Mobile has accidentally revealed the image of its upcoming Xperia E5 smartphone on its social media channels before pulling them down. This shows the smartphone in black and white colors and the phone is expected to feature a metal frame. It will also have NFC support. Sony F3311 already surfaced in GFXBench listing, confirming most of the specifications of the phone. It is also expected to come in dual SIM variant, Xperia E5 dual, similar to the Xperia E4 series. The company is headed by Sharad Mehrotra, who was previously Apple India’s enterprise mobility head. He quit Apple in December 2015, after working there for almost 8 years and started Hyve Mobility in January 2016 to develop Android smartphones. LeEco India just sent an invite for an event on June 8th. The company is expected to launch the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max smartphones at the event. These phones were unveiled in China last month, come with a unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor and have new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for loss-less audio through USB Type-C port and doesn’t have 3.5mm audio jack.

Asus has launched new variants of Zenfone Max that was launched earlier this year. This is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM variant and runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The internal storage has also been increased to 32GB.
