HTC has just announced the rumored HTC One (M8) for Windows smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1.1 with Cortana.  It has exactly the same design and specifications as the HTC One (M8), including a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Duo camera setup with a primary UltraPixel camera, secondary rear camera to capture depth information and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens.

LG G Vista with 5.7-inch display goes official for Verizon

LG G Vista that surfaced earlier this month has gone official for the Verizon in the US. It has a 5.7-inch HD display with  Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Screen Protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a  8-megapixel rear camera with single LED flash, laser auto focus and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

Verizon launches XLTE, offers twice the 4G LTE bandwidth

Verizon Wireless has launched XLTE, a new LTE service for their customers in select cities that would offer twice the LTE bandwidth. This uses 1700/2100 MHz AWS spectrum, in addition to the usual 700 MHz spectrum. Verizon promises faster peak data speeds and a minimum of double the bandwidth in high traffic areas with XLTE. LG has launched the Lucid 3 for Verizon Wireless in the U.S. It has a 4.7-inch qHD screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It has all the software features present on the other latest LG smartphones, including KnockON with 80,000 possible KnockCode combinations to unlock the phone, QSlide 2.0, QuickMemo and more. Even though Samsung did not announce the smartphone officially, Verizon has put up the smartphone for pre-order on their website. As rumored, the phone has a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor (Snapdragon 800?) and runs on Windows Phone 8. LG G Pad 8.3 LTE coming to Verizon on March 6th

LG announced the G Pad 8.3 tablet back in September last year. It introduced the G Pad 8.3  Google Play Edition in December, that we reviewed recently. LG has released the G Pad 8.3 LTE exclusively on Verizon Wireless in the US. Except the LTE support via SIM card slot, other features are similar to the original LG G Pad 8.3. It has a 8-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels)  full HD display, quad-core 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android Jelly Bean OS. Motorola Moto G retailer pack leaked, coming to Verizon for just $100 off contract

Google announced Motorola’s next budget smartphone device – Motorola Moto G sometime back and it is scheduled to arrive in India during January 2014. Moto G is budget minded mid-range smartphone that makes little compromise on the specifications as it sports a 4.5inch 720p display, has a quad-core processor and is fueled by a 2070mAh battery and India is likely to receive a dual-SIM variant.

Moto X gets Android 4.4 KitKat via OTA update

Motorola has surprisingly updated the Moto X to Android 4.4 really quick and the OTA update just showed up on our AT&T unit which we have been happily using in India.The Android 4.4 KitKat update for the MotoX is about 326MB in size and bears the version number 140.44.5.en.US. The update was pretty straight forward and came in as a Over the Air update and installation took about 20 mins to complete. Motorola had already started rolling out the update for the Verizon version.

Motorola has officially announced the new Trio of Droid phones, the  Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and the Droid Maxx for Verizon Wireless in USA. The Droid Mini is the a compact phone with a 4.3-inch HD edge-to-edge display and wireless charging capabilities, the Droid Ultra has a 5-inch HD display is is just 7.18mm thick. The Droid Maxx also has a 5-inch HD screen and packs a 3500 mAh battery that offers up to two days of battery life on a single charge. These are powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2. All these are made with DuPont Kevlar fiber unibody design and has non-removable battery.

Nokia Lumia 928 with 8.7 MP PureView camera, OIS and Xenon flash coming to Verizon for $99

Nokia has just announced its new PureView device, the Lumia 928 for Verizon. The highlight of the phone is its pairing of a Xenon flash with the optical image stabilization assembly from the 920. The camera is a 8.7MP unit which will let you shoot images in both 4:3 and 16:9 mode without cropping. The camera module has a f/2.0 aperture.
