Bharti Airtel is offering its customers 1000 GB of extra data on some of its broadband plans under its ‘Exclusive Web Offer’, according to a report by The Financial Express. Currently, the offer is available only to customers of Delhi-NCR who opted for Airtel broadband services on or after May 16. In order to avail the offer, customers can find the ‘Unlimited Internet offer’ on the telco’s web portal.

Last year Reliance Jio started testing JioFiber. When it reported earnings last month, it said that it started roll-out of its Fibre to the Home (FTTH) business by offering beta trials in a few locations. It also said that it will expand the scope of the beta trials over the next few months. There were some reports recently that said Jio has started JioFiber trials in Chennai, Mumbai and other cities. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and its subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) today reported its financial performance for the quarter / year ended 31st March, 2017. Reliance Jio posted a net loss of Rs 22.50 crore for the six months period of October, 2016 till March 2017, up from Rs. 7.46 crore in the previous financial year.
