KT, Samsung and Qualcomm join to demo 600Mbps LTE-H tech at MWC 2015

Korean operator KT has announced that it has partnered with Samsung and Qualcomm to showcase world’s first LTE-H (HetNet) technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona next week. LG Watch Urbane LTE with VoLTE calling and NFC payments announced

LG has announced LG Watch Urbane LTE, few days after it introduced its LG Watch Urbane Android Wear smartwatch with metal build. This has the same 1.3-inch (320 x 320 pixels) P-OLED Display and has metal build, but it runs on LG’s own wearable platform with new UX and not Android Wear. It comes with voLTE voice calling support since it has a speaker and a microphone and also comes with NFC support for easy payments. Huawei Introduces Nova world’s first 16nm FinFET 64-bit network processor

Huawei has introduced Nova, which is the world’s first processor based on 16nmFinFET technology. It is networking processor, supports GSM/UMTS/LTE FDD/LTE TDD on a single chip. It is based on ARM64 architecture and the 16FinFET process. Huawei promises that it will be 67% more efficient than traditional processors offering enhanced performance and flexibility.

Samsung has been teasing its upcoming Galaxy S6 smartphone for the past few days in videos and images. Recently the Galaxy S6 smartphone has been teased by T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere on the official website. It has a caption SIX APPEAL, which hints at the Galaxy S6 name. LG has just announced their new mid-range smartphone lineup that includes, Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015. These smartphones run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and come with LTE and 3G versions depending on the market. LG has finally changed their naming convention for their smartphones. These have design elements and features seen on premium models. The LG Magna and LG Spirit has gently curved design and their displays are distinguished by a subtle 3000mm radius curve for a sleeker, more attractive profile, says LG. Lenovo Vibe Shot with 16MP camera, triple-tone flash surfaces

Lenovo Vibe Shot, the company’s upcoming top-end smartphone in the Vibe series has surfaced on a Thai website. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 16-megapixel rear camera with triple-tone flash for providing consistent lighting in various environments. The camera also features a BSI sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). It has metal body and comes with a dedicated shutter key for capturing images easily.
