Gionee India has announced that they have pushed a new Over-The-Air update for the Gionee Marathon M3 and Pioneer P6 smartphones. Update for P6 fixes the green shade and hanging issue while using whatsapp. It also gets notification management system, new lock screen widget for privacy issues and more. Kingston introduced its 128GB Class 10 UHS-I Speed Class 1 (U1) microSD for smartphones and tablets last year. It is not available in India yet, but we manged to get one for review before it launches here. Since this is a class 10 Card, it promises a minimum data transfer rate of 10MB/s. It was announced last month and packs a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA LCD screen with numeric keypad, comes with built-in MP3 player, FM Radio, Opera mini browser, 2G (EDGE) connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing feature and a VGA rear camera without flash and a built-in torchlight. Videocon Telecom has announced that it plans to roll out 4G LTT FDD services on 1800 Mhz across 29 key cities UP (East), UP (West) and Bihar circles. It will invest over Rs 1200 crores in next 3 years for 4G roll out in the cities across these 3 circles. It holds 5Mhz liberalized spectrum in the 1800 Mhz band in the circles. OnePlus and Amazon.in have announced that the 16GB Silk White variant of the OnePlus will go on sale in India soon. The company launched the 64GB Sandstone Black variant of the OnePlus One smartphone in India back in December last year for Rs. 21,999. The 16GB Silk White variant will also require an India-specific invite to purchase. OnePlus conducted one-time open sale in India last week, which was a huge success. Revving in soon. The Motorola Droid Turbo was introduced back in October last year for Verizon Wireless in the U.S. Later it was introduced as Moto Maxx for global markets. The company also launched a range of smartphones along with the X5Max that includes the vivo X Shot X710. India as recorded 74% rise in mobile data traffic in 2014, according to a latest study from Nokia Networks. The study said that both 2G and 3G mobile broadband services were responsible for the rise.

Amazon India has announced that the YU YUREKA smartphone will be available today for select customers those who have shown a high level of interest to buy the smartphone but were unable to get it. The sale happens today, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 2 PM to 5 PM. Only registered customers who were unable to purchase the YUREKA will be eligible to participate in today’s sale and will receive an email from Amazon.in informing them of their access to the sale, said the company.
