Micromax’s YU just launched YUPHORIA, the company’s second YU branded smartphone as expected. It has a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a screen-to-body ratio of 67.1%, is powered by a Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It features a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a metal frame that will give the smartphone a premium feel, says the company. Tablet PC market declines in India by 13.9%

According to research done by CMR, the Tablet PC market in India has shown a double digit decline of 13.9% QoQ (Quarter on Quarter) for the first time. BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) enabled tablets accounted for 60% of the tablet shipments during the same timeframe.

It has a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor instead of 1.7 GHz Octa-Core SoC and has a 2400mAh battery, other specifications are similar to the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311, including a 5-inch HD display, 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with expansion slot, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Asus launched the Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) smartphone with 4GB of RAM in India last month starting at Rs. 19,999. The Zenfone 2 variant with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and Z23560 SoC was launched for Rs. 14,999. Today the company has launched a new variant of the smartphone smartphone with the same SoC, but the RAM and internal storage have been upped to 4GB and 32GB, respectively.
