iBall has launched Cobalt 5.5F Youva, the company’s latest 4G smartphone in the Cobalt series. It packs a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1GHz quad-core 64-bit processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera (enhanced to 13-megapixel using software) with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera (enhanced to 8-megapixel using software). Motorola today launched the Moto X Force, it’s high-end smartphone with Moto ShatterShield, the world’s first shatterproof display in India, as it had promised. It was announced back in October last year as the global variant of the DROID Turbo 2 and packs a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED screen, is powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and has a 3760mAh battery. LeEco (formerly known as Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 10,999. Flipkart today announced that it has received over 5,30,000 lakh registrations for the Le 1s smartphone within 10 days after registration opened. Apple is planning to sell refurbished iPhones in India and is seeking approval from the Government for the same, according to a latest report from the Indian Express. The company is also planning to set up a facility in the country to restore used mobiles shipped from China.

Idea Cellular has launched its 4G LTE services across 39 towns, including Bengaluru in Karnataka, after it launched 4G services across five states in South India – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana last month. Oppo is the latest entrant in the long list of international smartphone makers to join the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that it will invest Rs 100 Cr to kick start its own manufacturing facility in India by August this year.

Lenovo launched the Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India at Rs. 11,999 recently. We already brought you the unboxing, teardown, benchmarks and the battery life test results, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. As you might have seen in the teardown, the phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor with 1.12 um pixel size, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash.
