MTS launches new MBlaze plans, revises existing plans in Kolkata and West Bengal

MTS has reduced their existing tariff plans and has also introduced new plans for MBlaze customers in Kolkata and West Bengal circle. The new Rs. 45, Rs. 105, Rs. 490 would offer 150 MB, 300 MB and 3 GB of free data. The Rs. 45 plan comes with 7 days validity and the other plans come with 30 days validity. They have also introduced Rs. 698 plan with 4 GB of free data with 60 days validity. Other select plans would offer 3 times more data (Eg: Rs 198 that offered 200 MB free data would now offer 750 MB free data with 30 days validity. HTC One S now available in India for Rs. 33,000

HTC One S is now available in India from online retailer Saholic. HTC announced the One S at MWC 2012 and the price of One S for India was revealed on TheMobileStore last month. The Saholic site says it has 1.5GHz dual-core processor, but according to HTC India site, it comes with 1.7 GHz processor which is Snapdragon S3 instead of S4 in some countries like US and UK. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS with HTC Sense 4 and has 4.3-inch (540×960 pixels) display, Beats Audio, and the same 8MP auto focus camera with flash, 1080p HD video recording and VGA front-facing camera present in the One X. Zync Z-990 plus 7-inch tablet running Android 4.0 launched in India for Rs. 6,490

Zync has launched the Zync Z-990 plus, successor of the Zync Z-990 that was launched this March. The new tablet has upgraded 1.5 GHz processor with MALI 400 GPU and glossy 7-inch display with similar 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It also has glossy back. Other specs are similar to the previous tablet such as 0.3 MP video calling camera and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Zync has also partnered with Ibibo to offer games in 40 categories including Teen Patti, Rummy, Can you Draw, Speed Wordz, Word War and more that comes pre-loaded in the tablet. Motorola Razr Maxx up for pre-order in India for Rs. 31,999

Motorola Razr Maxx is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Infibeam. The LTE version, Droid Razr Maxx for Verizon was unveiled at CES 2012 earlier this year and the 3G HSPA version was announced in April. It was priced in UKin soon after that. It comes with a 3300 mAh battery, which offers up to 17.6 hours of talk-time and 607 hours standby on a single charge. It is 8.99 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.

Huawei Honor Review

Here is the FoneArena review of the Huawei Honor. It was announced last year and was showcased at MWC 2012. It was available in India in April and officially launched by mid-April. It is Huawei’s first high-end phone available in India. Let’s get into the review. has 4-inch ( 854 x 480 pixels) LCD capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by 1.4GHz single-core processor. Nokia 808 PureView launched in India for Rs. 33,899

Nokia has finally launched the 808 PureView, their flagship camera phone with 41MP sensor. Nokia announced the Nokia 808 PureView at MWC 2012 and said it would launch in May 2012, but it was delayed. They announced last week that it would launch mid-June and sent us an invite for today’s launch event. It even got a price tag on their Nokia store yesterday. It has 4-inch (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED CBD display with Gorilla Glass protection, 1.3 GHz processor and runs on Nokia Belle FP1 OS. Nokia 808 Pureview gets a price tag of Rs.33899 on Nokia Store few hours before India launch

The folks at BGR.in have just posted that the Nokia 808 PureView has got a new price tag of Rs.33899 on the Nokia Store with an unconfirmed MRP of Rs.34999. The 808 PureView packs a whopping 41 Megapixel Camera sensor with a Xenon flash and capable for recording 1080p videos.From the little time , I have had with the device since Mobile World Congress, CTIA and Nokia India events , I totally want one as I have owned the Nokia N82, N86 8MP and the N8. The PureView is a must have if you are camera phone freak like me. Only thing which is not so fancy about the PureView is the Symbian OS but then that is the OS which has good image processing capabilities.
