Micromax is working on their first LTE smartphone that would be powered by NVDIA’s Tegra 4i processor, according to a Twitter user @LeaksterInc. The user has also leaked the press image of the smartphone that resembles the Wiko Wax smartphone from the French manufacturer Wiko. Micromax was the first Indian OEM to launch Tegra 2-powered smartphoneMicromax A85 back in 2011, but it did not tie-up with NVIDIA after that. Samsung started rolling out the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Galaxy Note 2 last week France. The update is now rolling out for the Note 2 users in India. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 got the KitKat update in January and the Galaxy S4 got the update in February. The Galaxy Note 2  got Android 4.1.2 update back in December 2012 and got the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update directly, skipping Android 4.2, back in November last year. Sony Xperia E1 dual gets a price cut, now available for Rs. 8054

Sony launched the Xperia E1 dual along with the Xperia E1 in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 10,490. It went on sale at Rs. 9,999 and got a price cut to Rs. 9,490 few weeks back. Now the phone has received another price cut and is available for as low as Rs. 8,054 in India online. The E1 dual has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Airtel launches 4G on mobile in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula

Bharti Airtel has launched 4G on mobile in three cities, Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula in India. The company launched 4G LTE service on mobile back in February starting from Bengaluru and also set up experience zones in the city to showcase the power of 4G on mobile in partnership with LG and Qualcomm. Xolo had launched the Q1010 back in February, but they already came back with an updated model, the Xolo Q1010i, in April, with a slightly higher price tag of Rs. 13,499. LG G Pro 2 now available in India for Rs. 49900

LG G Pro 2 that was unveiled back in February is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. Yesterday retailer Mahesh Telecom said that the G Pro 2 (LG D838) would be priced at Rs. 49,900 (MOP) in India and the MRP would be Rs. 51,500. LG unveiled the G Pro 2, the company’s latest phablet back in February ahead of MWC 2014 and it started rolling out in Asia starting from last month. Now Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the G Pro 2 (LG D838) would be priced at Rs. 49,900 (MOP) in India and the MRP would be Rs. 51,500. TDSAT allows 3G Intra-circle roaming pacts between Airtel, Vodafone and Idea


The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) today cleared the 3G intra-circle roaming agreements signed between Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular by saying that the 3G intra-circle-roaming (ICR) does not violate the Unified Access Service Licence (UASL) license, reports ET. It has also quashed all penalties imposed by the Department of Telecom (DoT) on these operators last year.
