Xolo has launched the Xolo Win Windows 8.1 tablet exclusively on Flipkart. It was unveiled at CES 2014 earlier this year and packs a 10.1-inch (1366 x768 pixels)  display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core AMD Temash A4-1200 processor with AMD Radeon HD 8180G GPU. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera. Xolo unveiled its first Windows 8.1 tablet – Xolo Win in partnership with AMD earlier this year at the CES 2014. It was expected to launch couple of months back, but it didn’t happen. Today, Flipkart has announced that it would launch the tablet in India for Rs. 19,990 and would also offer a range of  launch offers. The Xolo Win has a 10.1-inch (1366 x768 pixels)  display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core AMD Temash A4-1200 processor with AMD Radeon HD 8180G GPU and runs on the latest Windows 8.1 OS. ZTE to roll out six smartphones including 4G handsets in India in 2014

ZTE has announced its plans to expand operations in India by launching six new smartphones this year. The Chinese telecom maker made its debut in India last year in July by launching smartphones and 3G data cards.

Micromax to reportedly foray into wearable devices

Micromax is considering to enter the growing wearables market, according to the Times of India. The company’s newly appointed Chairman Sanjay Kapoor stated that Micromax could expand its offerings beyond smartphones and tablets and foray into wearable devices and machine-to-machine products.

Newegg, an online retailer, set to enter the Indian market

Newegg, a popular online electronics retailer, has announced at the Computex 2014 event that they will soon be expanding to six new markets in addition to the four markets that they are currently operating in. The new six market that the company plans to enter includes – India, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Singapore and the four countries where the company already operates are US, Canada, UK and Australia.

Nokia launched both the Lumia 630 and the Lumia 630 Dual SIM at an event last month. The Dual SIM variant of the smartphone went on sale few days after the launch. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (SM-T331) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T531) that were unveiled back in April are now listed on official Samsung India eStore. Both these tablets have 8.0-inch and 10.1-inch WXGA displays with 16:10 screen ratio, powered by 1.2 quad-core processors and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Micromax has announced that it has appointed Sanjay Kapoor Chairman of the board and a part of Micromax’s promoter group.
