Swipe Telecom launched Swipe Konnect 5.0,  the company’s first Android smartphone in the Konnect running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) last week for Rs. 8999. Today the company has announced that it has started rolling out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the smartphone. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) 5-point multi-touch display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The tablet comes with parental lock that lets parents restrict or block internet usage,  restrict apps that can be accessed by children using Application Manager and a timer to set the amount of time each day that their child can use the tablet. It has a  7.85-inch IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera and packs a 3200 mAh battery. It has SIM card slot that lets you make voice calls.

It went on sale yesterday from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). Swipe Telecom has tied-up with MTV once again to launch the MTV Volt 1000, successor of the Volt that was launched earlier this year.  It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This has 1GB of RAM instead of 512MB in its predecessor and the battery has gone down to 2850 mAh.
