The Android Enterprise Recommended program is a list of devices that Google approved for enterprise customers after meeting their standards for hardware, software and updates. The program listed consisted of devices from manufacturers like Lenovo, OnePlus, Oppo, and Xiaomi, and now the latest to join them is Samsung’s family of Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Samsung Galaxy W21 5G foldable phone with Snapdragon 865+, 12GB RAM announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy W21 5G, successor of last year’s W20 5G in China. It has similar specifications as Galaxy Z Fold2 5G including a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED screen on the inside with 120Hz refresh rate, Samsung Ultra Thin Glass and a 6.2-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Flex display on the outside, but this comes with dual nano SIM support, and new Glitter Gold colour. Samsung’s Q3 2020 profits up 58.74% YoY, mobile profits up 52.4% YoY

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q3 2020 that ended September 30, 2020 in which the company has made revenue of 66.96 trillion won, an increase of 8% YoY. Operating profit rose to 12.35 trillion won, up 58.74% YoY and 51.5% QoQ and net profit rose to 9.36 trillion won, up 48.8% YoY. This is due to stronger sales of memory chips and consumer products. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Fit2 fitness tracker in India. It sports a 1.1-inch AMOLED display that is housed in 3D curved glass and the display has a peak brightness of 450 nits and has over 70 different downloadable watch faces. The Fit2 can automatically detect and tracks up to 5 activities, and provide users with various insights such as heart rate, distance, and calories burned. There is a sleep tracking feature as well and there are support for Gyro, Photo plethysmography, and Accelerometer sensors. Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra renders surface, could be announced in January 2021

Samsung is expected to introduce Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra smartphones in 2021. Now the renders of the S21 and S21 Ultra have surfaced. This shows an Infinity-O display for both the smartphones, quad rear cameras for the S21 Ultra and triple rear cameras for the S21. These are rumoured to be powered by Exynos 1000 or Snapdragon 875 depending on the market.
