Samsung started selling the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones in over 60 countries, including its home-ground Korea starting from March 11th. Korea’s Yonhap News is reporting that Samsung sold more than 100,000 units of Galaxy S7 series of smartphones in South Korea, in first two after the sales started. Samsung has officially listed the Galaxy Tab A 2016 on company’s German website. It is called as Tab A for the Europen markets and should be launched soon as the Galaxy Tab E in the US.
Samsung today announced that it has started the global roll out of its flagship Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones, including the US, Europe, Singapore, Australia and Korea, starting from today. Samsung has introduced Galaxy J1 (2016) (SM-J120), it’s latest budget 4G smartphone in Russia and also Galaxy J1 mini (SM-J105), a budget 3G smartphone in Philippines and Russia (Via). The Galaxy J1 was first shown off in Dubai, while the Galaxy J1 mini surfaced in benchmarks last year. Both these phones come with dual SIM support. The Galaxy J1 (2016) also comes in 3G variant in some market.
iFixit gives a repairability score for every device they teardown. For the latest Galaxy S7 it has given a score of just 3/10. Even though it is better than the 2/10 score of the Nexus 6P, this is less than the 4/10 score of last year’s Galaxy S6.
