Samsung has launched the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones in the new On series. The Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones have 5-inch and 5.5-inch HD displays, respectively. The Galaxy On5 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor and has a 8-megapixel rear camera, while the Galaxy On7 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 410 processor and has a 13-megapixel rear camera.

Samsung India schedules event on November 3, Galaxy On5 and On7 expected
Samsung has sent invites for the launch of new smartphones at an event in Delhi tomorrow, November 3rd. According to its recent teaser, these are likely to be Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphone in the new On series that went official in China recently. The Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On5 smartphones have 5-inch and 5.5-inch HD displays, respectively. These run on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), pack 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot, 4G LTE connectivity and dual SIM support.

Samsung Q3 2015 profits up 29% YoY
Samsung has reported its earnings for Q3 2015, in which the company has made operating profit of 7.39 trillion ($6.42 billion) for the quarter that ended September 30, 2015, up 82% from 4.06 trillion won compared to the same quarter last year. It has reported net profit of 5.46 trillion won ($4.8 billion), up 29.38% YoY, on revenues of 51.68 trillion won ($45.6 billion), up 6% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), driven mainly by its Semiconductor Business and the Display Panel segment. Samsung Galaxy View tablet with 18.4-inch display, 4G LTE official
Samsung has officially announced Galaxy View, the company’s largest tablet with a 18.4-inch 1080p display, as it promised at the IFA last month. Even though it has a pixel density of just 119 PPI, Samsung says that the screen is optimized for media consumption and the tablet has been designed with a video-centric interface in mind. Samsung Exynos 8890 with custom cores for Galaxy S7 said to enter mass production in December
Samsung’s Octa-Core Exynos 8890 SoC also called the Exynos M1 with custom CPU cores surfaced in benchmarks last month. There were reports that Samsung is also testing Snapdragon 820 SoC for the upcoming Galaxy S7 flagship smartphone and it might also release another variant with the high-end Snapdragon processor that will release sometime in the first half of 2016.
