Google announced the Digital Wellbeing feature last year aimed at being responsible with smartphone usage. Digital Wellbeing helps users understand their smartphone usage better, app usage timers help users limit the usage, visuals detailing how many times the phone was unlocked each day and how many notifications were received. The Wind Down feature limits notifications and also gradually turns the display greyscale, to make it easier on the eyes and to encourage you to unplug. POCO F1 gets another permanent price cut in India, 8GB + 256GB Armored Edition now available for Rs. 22999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the F1, the company’s first smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 20,999, later in December the company announced Rs. 1000 price cut across all the version of the smartphone. In June the 6GB + 64GB version got a Rs. 2000 limited period price cut and was selling it for Rs. 17999, later it was permanent. During the Xiaomi Mi 5th Anniversary sale last month, other versions of the POCO F1 got temporary price cuts, now the price cut has become permanent, and is available from Flipkart and Mi.com at new rates.

Xiaomi is looking for POCO F1 devices with touch issues

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 almost a year ago in India. The smartphone was a great value for money but had a few issues, such as screen bleeding but the company was very responsive towards addressing the issues. Users have been complaining about the touch issues on POCO F1, the company released various OTA updates to fix the issue but it seems like the issue is still not fixed. MIUI update brings shortcut to switch SIM card for data connectivity

Xiaomi’s MIUI is amongst the most popular android skins with more than 300 million worldwide users. MIUI is a heavy skin on top of Android, but what sets it apart from other Android skins is its feature richness and customizations. Xiaomi used to roll out MIUI Global Beta ROM update biweekly, including closed beta on every Tuesday and public beta on every Friday but last month, the company announced its plan to terminate MIUI Global Beta ROM program and said that Global Beta ROM updates will not be released after 1 July. POCO F1 Android Q based MIUI testing might start soon

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo). Later in December 2018, the company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI 10 update for the smartphone. How to enable Digital Wellbeing on Xiaomi phones

Xiaomi recently introduced Screen time feature with MIUI Global Beta ROM, it is similar to Digital Wellbeing that helps you understand your phone usage better, app usage timers so that you can limit the usage, visuals detailing how many times you unlock your phone per day and how many notifications you receive. POCO F1 finally gets Widevine L1 support via OTA beta update [Update: Netflix HD playback coming soon]

Update: POCO has finally confirmed that Netflix HD content playback will be available soon, as it has announced in the latest feedback post that it has some progress with Netflix. Hope we can expect an update soon to enable it soon. The company is yet to roll out stable update to add widevine L1 and 4K 60 fps support.

Xiaomi’s POCO has announced that POCO F1 6GB+128GB version will receive a price cut of Rs. 2000 and Rs. 20,999 from 25th March to 28th March. The company says that it has received overwhelmingly positive response that POCO F1 has received in merely six months upon its launch in August 2018 that calls for this price cut.
