The POCO X3 Pro features the 6.67-inch (1080 × 2400 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, Dynamic switching between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz or 50Hz and has 240Hz touch sampling rate, same as the POCO X3, but this has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone comes with Z-Shocker Haptics with over 150 vibration modes for different scenarios.

It has a tiny punch-hole screen that houses a 20-megapixel camera. There is a small earpiece on the top that also acts as a loudspeaker, and houses a tiny notification LED that glows in white. On the bottom there is a small bezel.

The screen is bright even under sunlight and runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 out of the box. It is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 860 7nm Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and has up to 128GB UFS3.1 storage. It also has LiquidCool Technology Plus that uses large copper heat pipe with multiple layers of graphite to reduce the heat by up to an additional 6°C.

Coming to the button placements, the volume rockers and the fingerprint sensor, which also doubles up as the power button is present on the right side. It is quick to unlock the phone. The Hybrid SIM slot is present on the left side. The secondary microphone, IR sensor and a tiny hole for speaker air outlet are present on the top. On the bottom there is a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and primary microphone.

The phone has quad rear cameras that includes a 48MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture Sony IMX582 sensor, 8MP 119° ultra-wide sensor with 1.0μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors with 1.75μm, f/2.4 aperture. It has EIS and 4K 30 fps video recording and 960 fps slo-mo recording. It also has support for RAW capture and new vlog mode. Check out some camera samples.

The phone a unique design with POCO brand running in the middle, but it has a plastic back compared to glass back in the predecessor. The phone has IP53 ratings for water resistance. The phone has solid build quality, but the back is prone to fingerprints, so it is recommended to use the bundled case.

It has a 5160mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging that can charge up to 100% in 59 minutes. Since it has a huge battery, it is a bit heavy at 215 grams, but the weight distribution is decent. This is smaller than the 6000mAh battery in the POCO X3, but it should last for a day.

Competitively priced starting at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, will be available from Flipkart starting from tomorrow April 6th. Full review will be up soon.
