Sony Corporation has announced that it has sold 50 million PlayStation 5 consoles globally since the launch. The company reported 10 million sales mark in July 2021, in 8 months of launch, making it the fastest selling PlayStation console ever, it hit 30 million mark in December 2022, and 40 million in July.
