OnePlus X gets OxygenOS 2.2.0 update with manual camera mode, USSD bug fix for India

OnePlus has finally started rolling out Oxygen OS v2.2.0 OTA update for the OnePlus X smartphone, couple of months after it rolled out the OxygenOS 2.1.3 update. This update fixes USSD issues for India finally, so that pre-paid users will now receive USSD notification after a call, SMS and for data usage. The update also adds manual mode that is already present in the OnePlus 2, option to save images in SD card directly in camera, security patches, bug fixes and optimizations. OnePlus One OxygenOS 2.1.4 update brings new camera modes, LED customization and more

OnePlus One has finally got the OxygenOS 2.1.4 update. It brings Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), new camera support, including slow motion and clear image, new ringtones and more. OnePlus said that MaxxAudio’s proprietary sound technology and relevant applications, screen temperature slider, manual camera mode, RAW file format capability and others that were present in the test version did not make it to the final cut. OnePlus 2 Refurbished and Unboxed units to go on sale on Overcart starting Rs. 18749 on Jan 25

Overcart sold refurbished and unboxed units of the OnePlus One last year. Today it has announced that it will be selling refurbished and unboxed units of the 64GB OnePlus 2 smartphone on January 25th for Rs. 18,749 and Rs. 19,899, respectively. It will be covered under a six-month manufacturer warranty from OnePlus, said the company. OnePlus 2 went invite-free last month in India and a new unit costs Rs. 24,999. OnePlus introduced the OnePlus X in Onyx glass back and limited edition Ceramic variants back in October. The OnePlus X Onyx edition priced at Rs. 16,999 went on sale in India and several other countries with an invite back in November. The Limited Ceramic Edition OnePlus X went on sale in Europe last month and most recently in the U.S. Last Friday it went on sale through French Connection (FCUK) stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad invite-free. Now the smartphone is available from Amazon in India, as the company had promised last week. The OnePlus X Onyx edition priced at Rs. 16,999 went on sale in India and several countries with an invite back in November. At the launch the company said that it will make only 10,000 units of the OnePlus X Ceramic version smartphone, now it has announced that the Limited Ceramic Edition OnePlus X will be available from French Connection (FCUK) stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad invite-free tomorrow.
