OnePlus X OxygenOS 3.1.2 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update starts rolling out

OnePlus has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the OnePlus X smartphone in the latest OxygenOS 3.1.2 stable update that also includes October Android security patch. It released OxygenOS 2.2.3 OTA update for the phone last week that included September Android security patch. Check out the complete changelog below. It released  OxygenOS 3.1.1 Community Build earlier this month.

OnePlus X OxygenOS 3.1.2 OTA update brings:

  • Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade

    • New icon packs
    • Google search bar UI customization
    • New design of wallpaper picker
  • Shelf UX improvements
    • Long press boards to rearrange or remove
  • General system performance improvement
  • Settings changes
    • New (native Android) app permissions
    • New Alert Slider settings with more customization options
  • New apps
    • OnePlus Music Player
    • OnePlus Gallery
  • Implemented October Android security patches
  • General bug fixes

The OnePlus X OxygenOS 3.1.2 OTA update is 760MB in size and is gradually rolling out to all the users in the next few days. You can manually flash the update by download the OTA zip from here.
