On July 31st, a Twitter user posted an image of a burnt OnePlus Nord 2 that was 5 days old. He added that the phone blasted and smoke started coming out when the phone was inside a sling bag. In a reply to the user, OnePlus Support said that they are deeply concerned and asked the user to connect via direct message. The image confirms an in-ear design with ear tips, a stem design that has a glossy finish and the other parts have a matte finish.
