OnePlus 2 has finally been certified on TENNA (Via) in China, which shows the image of the upcoming smartphone. This reveals a home button below the display, which is likely to have fingerprint sensor, as the company confirmed earlier. There is a laser auto focus on the back for the camera along with a dual-tone flash. It also shows the same sandstone finish on the back, but the company will sell style swap covers separately. The company also sent out invites for a separate launch event in India in Delhi on July 28th, after the global VR event at 7:30 AM IST on the same day. It is likely to reveal the price and availability of the OnePlus 2 smartphone for India at the launch event. OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu aka Pete Lau has confirmed on weibo (via) that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will come with dual SIM support with dual standby. However, he did not confirm if the OnePlus 2 will have a microSD card slot, which the OnePlus One lacks. Since we have seen are several smartphones with hybrid SIM support that lets the second SIM slot double up as a microSD card slot when required, there might be a possibility of this too. OnePlus One 16GB Unboxed units to go on sale next week on Overcart for Rs. 12999

Overcart sold OnePlus One 64GB refurbished units back in May for Rs. 16,999. Today it has announced that it will be selling unboxed units of 16GB Silk White OnePlus One next week for Rs. 12999. It will be covered under a six-month manufacturer warranty from OnePlus, said the company.  A new 16GB OnePlus One unit costs Rs. 18,998, but it is currently out of stock on Amazon.in and Flipkart.

The company already revealed that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will be powered by improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC and will come with USB Type-C connector. This will be the most advanced fingerprint sensors out there and will unlock your device faster than Apple’s TouchID, said the company. This is the world’s first product launch in VR, says the company. “A VR launch lets you stand right next to our team and our fans as we unveil our new flagship. You’ll be able to look around as you check out the phone in a new way and maybe even find a few hidden Easter eggs”, said OnePlus.
