LG just announced Tone+ Free (HBS-PFL7), the company’s first wireless earbuds in Korea after introducing neckband Bluetooth headsets for the past several years. This has rich signal processing technology and advanced tuning technology (EQ, Equalizer) from audio manufacturer ‘Meridian Audio’ for rich bass, clear mid and highs, and offers three-dimensional sound. LG G8s ThinQ with 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 855, triple rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 36990

LG just launched G8s ThinQ, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in India, after it was introduced at the MWC earlier this year.  It has a 6.2-inch FullVision FHD+  OLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has triple rear cameras that includes a 12-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel 137˚ super wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. It has stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and DAC, 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass back, MIL-STD 810G compliance and IP68 water and dust resistance.

LG Q60 with 6.26-inch 19:9 FullVision display, triple rear cameras, military-level durability launched in India for Rs. 13490

LG just launched its Q60 smartphone in India, months after it was introduced at the MWC in February. It has a 6.26-inch 19:9 HD+ FullVision waterdrop notch display, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 3GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has triple rear cameras that includes 16MP primary camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 5MP with Super Wide Angle and a 2MP shooter with Depth Sensor. It also has a 13MP front camera.

LG G8X ThinQ / V50S ThinQ 5G with 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 855, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

LG just announced G8X ThinQ (V50S ThinQ 5G), the company’s latest top-end smartphone at the IFA 2019, which will be launched in Korea as with 5G support. It packs a 6.4-inch FullVision FHD+ OLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with improved user interface with a cleaner design, refreshed icons and tabs such as Dial, Call logs, and Contacts moving to the bottom of the display so that users can get even more done with only one hand, has dual rear cameras, 13MP 136-degree super wide-angle and 12MP standard sensor. There is also a 32-megapixel camera that merges four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels for better output.

LG Q70 with 6.4-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 675, triple rear cameras, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, military-level durability announced

LG has announced Q70, the company’s latest smartphone in the Q Series in Korea. This is the successor of Q60 that was introduced at the MWC earlier this year. This has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ punch hole display, which houses a 16-megapixel camera, is powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC with 4GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 32-megapixel rear camera along with a 13-megapixel ultra wide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensing camera for portrait shots.

LG X2 / K30 (2019) with 5.45-inch FullVision display, military-level durability announced

After the X4 (2019) model that was introduced in Korea back in April, the company has introduced X2 (2019) smartphone in its home ground. It packs a  5.45-inch HD+ FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio screen, is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 5-megapixel front camera with portrait mode and screen flash.

LG Q2 2019 profits down 67.5% YoY, mobile sales down 21.3% YoY

LG Electronics has reported revenues of 15.63 trillion won (US$ 13.40 billion) for the second quarter that ended June 30, 2019, which is down 15.4% compared to the same quarter last year. It posted profits of 652.3 billion won (US$ 559.4 million), down 15.4% YoY, while net profit was down 67.5% YoY to 106 billion won. LG starts rolling out Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support to 2019 AI ThinQ TVs

After rolling out Alexa support to its 2019 AI ThinQ TV lineup back in May, LG has announced that it will add Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support to 2019 LG OLED TVs, NanoCell TVs and UHD TVs with ThinQ AI capability via an update starting July 25. LG AI ThinQ TVs with Alexa and Google Assistant launched in India starting at Rs. 24990

LG today launched range of AI ThinQ TVs. All these support AI assistant and some models are powered by second generation α (Alpha) 9 Gen 2 intelligent processor and deep learning technology offering improved AI-enabled picture, sound and brightness. These come in screen sizes of 32-inch to 77-inch and support Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro, HLG Pro HDR and Dolby Atmos. These were introduced at CES 2019 earlier this year and the global roll out began in March.
