Lenovo launched the A6000 Plus smartphone in India at Rs. 7,499. Today the company has announced that 100,000 units of the A6000 Plus will be available in the first flash sale on April 28th. Registrations for the sale started on the launch day, April 17th and closes on 27th April 11:59 PM. Lenovo sold 3 lakh units of A6000 smartphones in India in 3 months before it was temporarily discontinued. Of late, Lenovo as a smartphone brand is getting a lot of eye balls and one of the primary reasons for that is the way they have been aggressively pricing their latest products. The Chinese maker has managed to disrupt the market with A6000 – one of the most affordable 4G LTE offerings in the mid-range market.

Lenovo A6000 with 4G capabilities in its armoury makes its competition look a bit overpriced and also underequipped. Lenovo has announced that it sold 30,000 units of Lenovo A7000 smartphones in its first flash sale in India on Flipkart today at 2PM. The smartphone was launched in India at an event earlier this month at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Lenovo has announced A6000 Plus at the Flipkart office in Bangalore during the live flash sale of its A7000 smartphone. The Lenovo A6000 Plus has a 5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe UI on top, similar to the Lenovo A6000 that was launched in India earlier this year, but the has RAM and internal storage have been upped to 2GB and 16GB, respectively compared to 1GB and 8GB on the A6000. Lenovo P70, the company’s latest smartphone in P series is now available in India from the official Lenovo online Store. It was announced earlier this year and packs a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 Processor processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support and has 4G LTE connectivity. Lenovo A6000 is not discontinued in India, will be back in stock soon

Lenovo A6000 went out of stock recently, and the Lenovo A6000 page on Flipkart said that the product has permanently been discontinued. Lenovo has clarified to NDTV Gadgets that it has not discontinued the smartphone in India and the stocks will be back soon, but the time frame of the availability is not known yet. It was unveiled at the MWC 2015 earlier this month, packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor, Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo A6000 will be available in India without registration from March 23 to 25

Lenovo launched the A6000 smartphone in India back in January and the first flash sale happened at the end of January on Flipkart. Now the company has announced that the smartphone will be available without registrations in open sale from March 23rd till March 25th, 2015 on Flipkart. It says that the offer is valid till stocks last, but it is not clear if the stocks will be replenished every day of the sale till March 25th.
