To remind you, the smartphone packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo/Motorola will focus on Vibe and Moto brands, but Motorola Mobility isn’t going away

Yesterday, there were reports that said Lenovo will phase out Motorola brand for smartphones. Later Motorola in a statement said, “Motorola Mobility continues to exist as a Lenovo company and is the engineering and design engine for all of our mobile products. However, for our product branding we will utilize a dual brand strategy across smartphone and wearables going forward using Moto and Vibe globally”. Lenovo Vibe K4 Note receives over 2 lakh registrations, K4 Note VR Bundle registrations closed

Lenovo launched the most expected Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India earlier this Tuesday. On the same day it started registrations on Amazon for the standalone version at Rs. 11,999 and the Vibe K4 Note VR Bundle at Rs. 12,499. Lenovo has announced that the K4 Note has received over 2,00,000 Registrations in two days after the launch. Lenovo will be making the first consumer-ready Project Tango smartphone, Jeff Meredith, Vice President, Marketing, Lenovo Mobile Business Group and Johnny Lee, Technical Project Lead, Project Tango announced at an event at the CES 2016. Project Tango combines the camera, gyroscope, and accelerometer to estimate six degree of freedom motion tracking, providing you the ability to track 3D motion of a device while simultaneously creating a map of the environment. Lenovo to phase out Motorola brand for smartphones

Lenovo which acquired Motorola in 2014 is planning to phase out the Motorola branding from smartphones. Motorola COO Rick Osterloh revealed to CNET that the smartphones will be called as Lenovo phones.
