Lava Iris X1 with 4.5-inch display, quad-core Broadcom SoC, Android 4.4 launched for Rs. 7999

Lava has launched Iris X1, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Iris series as it promised recently. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with Videocore IV GPU and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) out of the box. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, dual LED flash, Multi-Element Lens, 1.4 mm Pixel Size and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a similar design as the Iris Pro series. Lava launched the Iris Pro 20, a slimmed down version of the Iris Pro 30 last month for Rs. 13,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the device recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. Lava Iris Pro 20 Unboxing

Lava had launched their Iris Pro 30 sometime in January earlier this year and now they have launched a slightly toned down version of it in the form of Lava Iris Pro 20. The Lava Iris Pro 20 retains the distinctive iPhone like build quality, but comes with a relatively low resolution qHD display and a toned down 0.3MP front camera instead of the 3MP camera in the Iris Pro 30.
