Lava launched the Iris Pro 30, the company’s first smartphone in the Iris Pro earlier this month for Rs. 15,999. We already brought you the hands-on and the photo gallery of the Iris Pro 30 from the launch event and brought you the unboxing earlier today, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean).  We had already seen several smartphones with an HD screen and a similar quad-core processor. It was announced for a price of Rs. 15,999 and the company prided itself on having designed the product in-house, in India. Made of quality materials like magnesium alloy, the phone comes in at just 7.5mm thickness and 114g of weight, a far cry from hefty phones we have been seeing in this price range. Lava has launched the Iris Pro 30, the company’s latest flagship smartphone finally after several delays. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display based on OGS technology and Corning Gorilla glass protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. The phone is 7.5mm thick and weighs just 114 grams since it uses magnesium alloy body. The phone has CABC (Content Adaptive backlight control) screen brightness regulation technology that automatically reduces screen brightness for 30% more battery life. Lava Iris 405+ that was spotted online earlier this week has been officially launched in India. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera, similar to the Iris 405. It also has dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Iris smartphones. It has 3G support, 512MB RAM and packs a 1400 mAh battery. Lava Iris 354e with 3.5-inch display, dual-core processor spotted online for Rs. 3415

The Lava Iris 352e, an entry-level smartphone went on sale last month. Now the Lava Iris 354e has been spotted on Flipkart. It has a 3.5 inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), similar to the Iris 352e. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and has 2G (EDGE) connectivity. The phone is a bit thinner than its predecessor at 11.8mm and has 2GB of internal memory, instead of 512MB. The design of the phone has changed, which looks more flat with sharp edges than curved.

The Lava 3G 402+ that went on pre-order last week, has been officially launched in India. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has 3G, Dual SIM support with dual standby, 3MP rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of internal memory and has 512MB of RAM. an upgrade from 512MB internal memory and 256MB RAM, in the Iris 402.
