Lava launched the Iris X1, the company’s first budget smartphone running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) last month. It is powered by a quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and has Videocore IV GPU. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen and has 1GB of RAM. Lava Iris X1 is a mid-range Android smartphone that comes with above the price range specifications and shares its design language with one of the most premium smartphones in the market. Lava Iris 300 style and 3G 412, two new budget Android smartphones have been spotted on the official website. The Iris 300 style has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and the Iris 412 has a 4-inch WVGA screen. Both these smartphones are powered by 1 GHz dual-core processors and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Both these have a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, but the Iris 300 style doesn’t have LED flash. The Lava Iris Pro 20 is a slightly stripped down version of the Lava Iris Pro 30 which was launched earlier this year. The Lava Iris Pro 20 looks very much like its big brother Lava Iris Pro 30 and both the Iris Pro phones look like the iPhone. Lava has launched Iris X1, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Iris series as it promised recently. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor with Videocore IV GPU and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) out of the box. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, dual LED flash, Multi-Element Lens, 1.4 mm Pixel Size and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a similar design as the Iris Pro series. Lava launched the Iris Pro 20, a slimmed down version of the Iris Pro 30 last month for Rs. 13,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the device recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It has a 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD capacitive touch screen display, unlike the Iris Pro 30 that had a HD display, but this one is powered by the same quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor clocked at 1.21 GHz per core with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) we had seen on the Iris Pro 30.  Let us find out the synthetic benchmark scores of the smartphone. Lava Iris Pro 20 Unboxing

Lava had launched their Iris Pro 30 sometime in January earlier this year and now they have launched a slightly toned down version of it in the form of Lava Iris Pro 20. The Lava Iris Pro 20 retains the distinctive iPhone like build quality, but comes with a relatively low resolution qHD display and a toned down 0.3MP front camera instead of the 3MP camera in the Iris Pro 30.
