Lava is all set to release two new budget smartphones in the Iris range, the Iris 356 and the Iris 402. Both these smartphones are listed on the official website and packs decent specs for the price. The Iris 356 has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) display and the the Iris 402 packs a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display. Both these devices are powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). These have 3G support, Dual SIM with dual standby, rear and front-facing cameras. Lava launched the Iris 504Q, the company’s latest smartphone with a 5-inch HD screen last month. Here we have the device with us. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. Lava E-Tab Z7C+ with 7-inch display, Voice Calling now available for Rs. 8499


Lava E-Tab Z7C+ (Connect+), successor of the E-Tab Connect tablet that was launched back in March is now available from online retailer Flipkart. It appeared online last week and comes with a 7.0-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA)  front-facing camera. It has a SIM card slot that offers 3G connectivity and voice calling support. The specifications are similar to the E-Tab Connect expect for the new sliver colored body.

Lava launched E-Tab Connect, the company’s first tablet with 3G support and voice calling back in March. Now E-Tab Z7C+ (Connect+), successor of the Connect tablet has appeared on online retail sites Flipkart and Saholic. It comes with a 7.0-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA)  front-facing camera. It has a SIM card slot that offers 3G connectivity and voice calling support. Lava just introduced its new handset, the Iris 504q, at an event in Delhi. Powered by a 1.2Ghz MediaTek processor, the handset also has 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.2 running phone is geared towards media consumption thanks to the large 5 inch HD 720p display. A front facing 2MP camera is provided to facilitate video calls while a rear facing 8MP shooter takes care of photography duties. Now the company has posted a new 6 second video on their Facebook page that shows off the gesture controls in the phone that would let you flick through the pictures within the camera app. The phone has also showed up on the official Lava website that reveals the model as 504Q. Lava to launch a new Iris smartphone with gesture user interaction in June

Lava has announced that the company plans to launch a new smartphone under the Iris brand that that can communicate with the user even in signs. Lava says, “This cool feature will allow a user to interact with the phone and use the camera with just a swipe of his hand in the air.”  The company says that this would be slimmest in its category and run on the latest version of the Android OS, 4.2 obviously. It has dual SIM support with dual standby and comes with 2G (EDGE) support. It comes pre-loaded with Opera mini, Saavn, WeChat, Ninja Rush, Dragon Hunter, Space Off, Lava Zone and more. Lava International has launched the E-Tab XTRON+, successor of the E-Tab XTRON that was launched back in February. It has a has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capactive multi-touch IPS display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor similar to its predecessor, but this runs on Android 4.2.2. (Jelly Bean), has a HDMI port, 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.

It has a 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It has a slim form factor with curved corners and has matte finish on the back. It comes with range of pre-loaded applications such as WeChat, Ebook reader  and more with HD movies and HD games.

Lava Mobiles has announced that it would launch their first tablet running on the latest Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The company launched the E-Tab XTRON, Lava’s first Android tablet running Android 4.1 back in February, which topped most of the benchmarks when compared to other 7-inch tablets.
