Huawei Mediapad now available in India for Rs. 28000


Huawei MediaPad is finally on sale in India from online retailers after their announcement last November. It was announced globally last June and comes with a 7-inch (1280×800 IPS) LCD display, Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS (Upgradable to Android 4.0) and it is powered by Dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor. HUAWEI IDEOS X3 Hands-On Pictures

Recently we were invited for a HUAWEI Blogger’s Meet in Mumbai and were shown 3 recently launched HUAWEI Android devices. Here are the hands-on photos of IDEOS X3.

HUAWEI IDEOS X3 is another entry level 3G Android Gingerbread device launched in India for Rs. 9990/- (MOP). It has 3.2” TFT LCD HVGA display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 SOC (System on Chip) running at 600MHz. IDEOS X3 has a 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. This device is actually unique as even it is a entry level Android smartphone, X3 has a premium design with curved body and nice soft touch matt plastic covering all back side of the device. Overall the device feels quite solid in hand.  The X3 has VGA FFC (Front Facing Camera) for Internet Video Calls. The display is quite bright and due to its size (3.2”) and HVGA resolution it was quite sharp for our eyes. The X3 has 3.2MP Fixed Focus main camera without LED Flash. Huawei MediaPad to ship with ICS, launches new MediaPad Color Series

Huawei has announced that MediaPad tablets would ship with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). They claim that this is the world’s first tablet to come pre-loaded with the new Android 4.0. They launched the MediaPad last June as the first Android 3.2 tablet. They have also launched new MediaPad Color Series that would run on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). Huawei Ascend P1 S world’s thinnest smartphone announced

Huawei has announced their world’s thinnest smartphone, Ascend P1 S that is just 6.68mm thin. It is 0.02mm thinner than the Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F while the Motorola RAZR is 7.1mm thin. It comes with 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels)  Super AMOLED display. It is powered by dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It weighs 110g.

Huawei releases ICS demo build for Honor

Today’s astonishing bulletin comes from Huawei; it just unleashed a “demo build” of the ICS update for their phone-Huawei Honor. It has been more than a month since the source code of ICS has been released and the manufacturers get the code even before that but all the major manufacturers have just let us down by telling us that it will take time for them to update their devices to ICS, while Huawei Honor which is a low budget phone from an average manufacturer gets the first look, Really?

Huawei has launched their MediaPad Honeycomb tablet and Huawei Sonic and Huawei IDEOS X3, Android phones with Cloud+ online storage. The Huawei Cloud+ service offers 16GB Cloud disk for storage and lets you share texts, pictures, videos and voice notes, Phone Finder to locate, back-up and lock, Cloud Gallery to easier viewing and sharing. It also has Huawei App Store for popular Indian and global apps and option to Sync Data and Over the air(OTA)OS upgrade.
