HUAWEI just confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19th. To remind you, the HUAWEI Mate 10 series was introduced in Munich back in 2017, but last year’s Mate 20 was announced at an event in London. The invite also hints at circular camera module as rumored earlier, and the invite confirms Leica partnership once again.

It packs a 6.26-inch Full HD+ LCD curved glass screen with a 32-megapixel in-screen camera, is powered by Kirin 980 7nm SoC with Dual NPU, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1, GPU Turbo 3.0, and features Leica quad-lens cameras with 48-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro and a 2-megapixel for portrait shots.

HUAWEI today showcased the Nova 5T smartphone at the Fashion Showcase during KL Fashion Week in Malaysia earlier today, as it had promised. This shows a glass back, quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera, so it should come with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro and a 2-megapixel for portrait shots, similar to the Nova 5 Pro that was introduced in China back in June.

Earlier this year, Google announced that it has suspended some of its business operations with HUAWEI which includes a ban on using Google Services and Play Store and later the US Government said that it will allow the US companies to sell their equipment to HUAWEI Technologies Co. Now, according to a new report, the US Government grants HUAWEI 90 days extension to do business with US suppliers.

HUAWEI introduced its Mate X foldable 5G smartphone earlier this year and the company also confirmed that it will launch the smartphone in India later this year. Later, Vincent Pang, President of HUAWEI’s Western European Region revealed that the Mate X foldable 5G smartphone will launch in September. Last week a report said that the phone will launch between September and November 2019.
A new entry-level smartphone from HUAWEI with the model number AMN-AL10 has been certified by TENAA in China. This reveals a 5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen, 2GHz Octa-Core processor with up to 3GB RAM, Android Pie, 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera, as well as 3000mAh battery. Except the Octa-Core SoC, other specifications are similar to the HUAWEI Y5 2019 that was introduced earlier this year.
HUAWEI just announced EMUI 10, the new major UI refresh based on Android 10 (Q) for HUAWEI and HONOR devices at the HUAWEI Developer’s Congress (HDC) 2019 today in China. EMUI 10 will bring over 60% improvements in GPU Turbo, over 70% improvements in Turbo Link, and over 20% improvements in EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) ROM. There is a 16-megapixel pop-up camera on the front. It comes with 3D portrait feature. Both the front and rear camera of the device can retouch your portrait with studio-quality lighting effects.

Smartphone manufacturers are gradually expanding their presence in the offline market through partnerships with retailers. Recently, OnePlus announced its partnership with Bajaj Electronics and in similar lines, HUAWEI has today announced that they are entering into a strategic partnership with Micromax Informatics Ltd to expand offline presence in India.
