HUAWEI is all set to announce the Nova 7 Series at an event in China this week, but that doesn’t stop the leaks from surfacing. A new leak on Weibo reveals the key specifications of the Nova 7 Series i.e., Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro and Nova 7 SE along with live images.
After rumors HUAWEI has finally confirmed that its Nova 7 series, successor of last year’s HUAWEI nova 6 series will be introduced in China on April 23rd. This comes after its P40 series that were unveiled globally last month, and in China a few days back. The image in the invite reveals large camera part, so the phones might pack quad rear cameras compared to triple cameras in the predecessor. HUAWEI’s HONOR brand at the HONOR 30series launch event introduced Kirin 985 SoC that lies between the Kirin 980 and the 980 and powers the HONOR 30 smartphone . It uses 7nm processor technology, similar to the 990. This has one ARM Cortex-A76 prime core clocked at 2.58GHz, three ARM Cortex-A76 larger core clocked at 2.40GHz and the other four smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 1.84GHz. HUAWEI at its event in China introduced the Smart Screen X65, the company’s latest flagship Smart Screen device with a pop-up camera, as it had promised. It packs a 65-inch 4K HDR OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC, support for DC dimming and the screen has TUV Rheinland certification. It has 24.9mm ultra-thin all-aluminum alloy body and the screen is just 5mm thick. This has one ARM Cortex-A76 prime core clocked at 2.36GHz, three ARM Cortex-A76 larger core clocked at 2.22GHz and the other four smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 1.84GHz, which promises 27% CPU performance improvement compared to the predecessor and the new ARM Mali-G57 MP6 GPU, which has a 38% gaming performance improvement over the previous generation and supports Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 technology. HUAWEI today announced that it will introduce new flagship Smart Screen, the company’s flagship smart TV with a pop-up camera in China on April 8th. The teaser shows the TV with a larger pop-up camera and narrow upper bezel compared to previous generation, but doesn’t give any other hints. It will likely feature a 4K HDR QLED screen similar to the first two models that were introduced recently.
