HUAWEI just launched MatePad T8, the company’s latest Android tablet in India, after it was teased back in July. It was introduced back in May packing an 8-inch HD+ display with 80% screen-to-body ratio, curved-edge metal body, is powered by the Octa-core MediaTek MT8768 SoC paired with 2GB RAM, 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 2MP front camera. HUAWEI Watch GT2 Pro 46mm with 1.39-inch circular OLED display, wireless charging surfaces

HUAWEI Watch Fit with 1.64-inch AMOLED display, built-in GPS, SpO2 monitoring, up to 10 days battery life announced

After rumours, HUAWEI has officially announced the Watch Fit, the company’s latest smartwatch. It features a 1.64-inch HD unique rectangular AMOLED touch screen with auto-brightness adjustment offering better viewing in sunlight and six Always-On  watch faces. It offers 50m (5 ATM) water resistance, built-in GPS, heart rate tracking, and up to 10 days of battery life. In addition to 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, it also offers blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring.

HUAWEI Enjoy 20 5G and Enjoy 20 Plus 5G to be announced on September 3

HUAWEI today confirmed that it will introduce Enjoy 20 and Enjoy 20 Plus 5G smartphones in China on September 3rd, after the ‘Enjoy 20 Pro’ was introduced back in June. The company has posted back images of the phone that confirms triple rear cameras, and the phones will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. These are expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. The ‘Enjoy 20’ will pack a 5000mAh battery and the ‘Enjoy 20 Plus’ will support 40W fast charging. HUAWEI Watch Fit with 1.64-inch AMOLED display, up to 10 days battery life surfaces

HUAWEI is said to be working on Watch Fit, a cheaper version of the HUAWEI Watch, and the press renders have surfaced. This reveals a unique rectangular AMOLED touch screen, 50m (5 ATM) water resistance, GPS support, heart rate tracking, and up to days of battery life. HUAWEI may stop producing HiSilicon Kirin Chips due to US sanctions; Mate 40 could be last Kirin-powered phone

It has been more than a year since the U.S. government imposed sanctions on various services offered by HUAWEI and now, they may be running into real trouble as current U.S. sanctions will block HUAWEI from working with TSMC to produce their high performance HiSilicon Kirin chips. This will affect HUAWEI in the smartphone segment in both global and Chinese markets.

HUAWEI just announced Maimang 9, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in the Maimang series in China. It packs a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 90.33% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and runs Android 10 with EMIUI 10.1 on top.
