Technology trends high and low, devices that have reached halo status while others than haven’t. From the launch of the One series with the drop-dead gorgeous M7 and successors that were comparatively hit or miss, HTC hasn’t needed a hands-down success as much as it does now. Now the HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition, a new smartphone in the ‘HTC One’ series is expected to be launched soon in the country. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, has 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, optical image stabilization (OIS), Laser auto focus and an UltraPixel front-facing camera.

HTC just sent out invites for the launch of it’s flagship HTC 10 smartphone in India on May 26th. The invite just shows an image of a painted elephant with the launch date. The company already confirmed that it will launch the Snapdragon 820 version of the phone in India, even though HTC India website listed the HTC 10 Lifestyle with Snapdragon 652 soon after the announcement. HTC records 64% fall in revenue for Q1 2016

HTC has announced financial results for Q1 2016. The Taiwanese smartphone maker has recorded $454 million (NT$14.8 billion) in revenue, down 64% as it was $1.3 billion (NT$41.52 billion) in Q1 2015.

HTC working on M1 and S1 Nexus devices, Nexus phone with Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM surfaces

A report from earlier this year said that Google will release two Nexus devices this year, both made by HTC. Now @evleaks has said that those two smartphones are called M1 and S1 internally. Android Police further states that HTC’s internal model numbers are probably based upon the codenames Marlin and Sailfish, named after aquatic life.
