Google acquires LogMeIn’s iOT division Xively for $50 million

Google Project Fi expands international coverage, now available in 170 countries

Google introduced the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones in India at a starting price of Rs. 61,000 and Rs. 73,000, respectively. Back in December Google announced a price cut for both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones both online and offline. Currently the phone come with flat Rs. 11001 and Rs. 8001 discount, respectively. In addition, Citi Bank is now offering Rs. 8000 and Rs. 10000 cashback on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, respectively on both Debit and Credit cards (valid on both EMI and non-EMI transactions) so the effective starting price is now Rs. 41,999. Google Chrome will block annoying video ads starting from Thursday, February 15

With an aim to improve web-experience, Google today announced that starting from February 15, it will block or stop showing all ads on sites that repeatedly display these most disruptive ads after they’ve been flagged. Google is testing ‘Reply’ app to bring smart replies to messaging apps

Google introduced automated-replies to Inbox two year ago and later was also rolled to Gmail. These automated replies will guess what you might reply to the message and adds a button to send that response. While this feature is limited to messaging apps like Allo and Android Messages, Google is now said to be working on bringing this feature to other chat applications.
