Apple introduced its first Siri-powered smart speaker HomePod at WWDC 2017 back in June for $349. At that time the company said that it will ship the device starting in December in Australia, the UK and the US. Now the company has released a statement saying that it will be available only in early 2018 saying that it need “a little more time” before the HomePod is ready, but it did not provide any reason for the delay. Apple released iOS 11.1.1 update for iPhone and iPad last week to fix an autocorrect bug that caused “i” to autocorrect to A[?] in the keyboard. Now it has pushed out iOS 11.1.2 update that fixes iPhone X screen becoming temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment and working only after several seconds, as reported by a lot of users last week. Apple was quick to acknowledge the issues and promised a fix.
