Acer has announced Liquid Jade S, the company’s latest smartphone in the Liquid series. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has an LED flash for capturing better selfies. Acer launched the Acer C720 Chromebook in India back in October for Rs. 22,999. Now the C720 is available for Rs.15,999 on Snapdeal as a part of Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival. It comes with 1TB Google Drive space for two years worth up to Rs.14,800, extra Rs. 500 buyback offer in exchange for old laptops and free a Skullcandy headphone worth Rs. 2,999. Acer has launched Liquid Jade and Liquid E700, the company’s latest smartphones in the Liquid series in India. The Liquid Jade has a has a 5-inch HD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Liquid E700 too comes with a 5-inch HD display. Both these are powered by a quad-core processors and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The Liquid Jade has a 13-megapixel rear camera with 0.3s focus time, F1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Acer, the Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics corporation is known for its desktop and laptop PCs. The company has entered the mobile space with its tablets and is trying hard to make a name for itself in one of the most profitable segments.
The latest slate from Acer to hit the store shelves is the Iconia A1-713. Acer is promoting the 3G data and voice calling ability of the tablet and calls it one of the best in its price range. Acer launched the Tab 7 earlier in April this year and we got our hands on the device at the IFA, Berlin event. The budget tablet is 8.95mm thin and weighing 330g. Acer announced the Iconia Tab 8 earlier in May but we recently got our hands of it at the IFA, Berlin, 2014. Similar to other Acer tablets, this one is also equipped with zero gap technology. It measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 360 grams.
