Acer has unveiled Liquid Leap+ Smart Activeband at the ongoing MWC 2015. The latest wearable connects with all main supported operating systems like Windows, Android and iOS.
The Smart Activeband features a 1” OLED touchscreen and tracks user’s steps, running distance and calories burned. It also monitors your sleep patterns during the night. The device which has no physical buttons is waterproof (IPX7) and the user interface provides music controls (play, pause, previous and next) and email, calendar, sms notifications. Acer claims that the Activeband uses low energy Blutooth 4.0 and has an estimated battery life of 5 to 7 days.
The wearable technology in Liquid Leap+ talks to Acer Leap Manager app and your Android, Windows, or iOS. The Liquid Leap+ available in Europe for €79 ($88) starting in March and is available in interchangeable bands including colors like Charcoal Black, Fuchsia Pink and Lime Green.
