Acer has launched Liquid Z630s and Liquid Z530, two new 4G smartphones in India exclusively on Flipkart. The Liquid Z630s packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 SoC, packs 3GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery, while the Liquid Z530 comes with a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC and has 2GB of RAM. Both these have a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Acer introduces new Aspire R 14 convertible and Aspire Z3-700 AiO PC with Windows 10

Acer today introduced Aspire R 14 (R5-431T / 471T) convertible notebook and Aspire Z3-700 portable all-in-one PC that features a built-in battery. Both these run on the latest Windows 10 OS. The Aspire R 14 can convert to Tent mode to fit in confined space and the magnet design allows the device to be used in the Tablet mode without any gaps. Acer has announced its new budget Liquid series of smartphones – Liquid Z330, Z320, M330 and M320 at the IFA 2015. All these share similar specifications that includes a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Z series run Android Lollipop 5.1 and the M series run Windows 10 Mobile. The Liquid Z330 and M330 have 4G support, while the Z320 and the M320 have 3G connectivity. Acer Jade Primo with 5.5 inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 808, Windows 10 announced

Acer has announced the Jade Primo smartphone which the company claims is a “pocket PC”. The phone will come equipped with Windows 10 software, and is said to be one of the first phones to use Microsoft’s Continuum for Phone software that enables seamless transition from mobile to desktop modes.

Acer has announced its first convertible Chromebook at IFA 2015. Dubbed as Chromebook R11, it has a 11.6-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and comes with a 360-degree hinge design that can be folded backward or forward.

Acer’s Predator 8 Gaming Tablet rumored to have entered production

Tablets are becoming increasingly similar to one another and it’s becoming hard to stand out from the crowd. However the Acer Predator 8, which is a gaming tablet announced during Computex in Taiwan earlier this year should have no such problem. The tablet seems to have a design that is inspired by the Alienware series of laptops and computers from Dell.

These have 11-inch and 14-inch HD (1366×768 pixels) 16:9 LED-backlit displays, are powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Celeron mobile processors with 2GB of DDR3L RAM and eMMC storage of 32GB or 64GB. Acer S59 selfie phone shows up on benchmarks – Packs 5″ HD screen, octa-core CPU and 13MP cameras
