Acer has released Chromebook 14, its first Chromebook with all-aluminum chassis and it also promises up to 14 hours of battery life. It comes in 14-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) or HD (1366×768) resolutions with wide viewing angles up to 170 degrees, is powered by an Intel Celeron quad-core or dual-core N3060 processor and comes with 4GB or 2GB dual channel LPDDR3 SDRAM with 32GB and 16GB storage, respectively.

The Acer Chromebook 14 line (CB3-431) will be available with either 16GB or 32GB eMMC storage and either 2GB or 4GB of RAM. The high-end model with Full HD display, 32GB storage and 4GB RAM will start at US$299.99, is now available for order from Amazon and will be available at bestbuy in April. No word on pricing of availability of HD model.
