Apple made the announcement today that it would officially begin livestreaming select events on Apple Music. The first concert will be a performance by Harry Styles this coming Friday (May 20th, 2022) at the UBS Arena in New York City. To all intents and purposes, it is an album launch party for Styles, whose third album, Harry’s House, is being released on the same day. Disney+ Hotstar now has 50.1 million paid subscribers

Disney+ Hotstar currently has 50.1 million paid customers, bringing the total to 137.7 million, the media and entertainment company announced on May 11. This brings Disney+ Hotstar’s share of Disney+ subscribers to approximately 36%. The Disney+ Hotstar subscriber base has increased by 42% year-on-year, while the main Disney+ global subscriber base has increased by 28%. As promised last year, YouTube is finally launching a beta version of the Channel Memberships Gifting feature. The Memberships Gifting option allows channel members to buy a predetermined number of channel memberships [5, 10, 20] in a single purchase, which YouTube will “gift” to other viewers in  live stream.
