Facebook for iPhone now supports Multi-tasking on iOS4

Good news for all iPhone / iPod users who are addicted to Facebook. One Facebook is one of the best apps for the iPhone platform but sadly it did not support multitasking or fast app-switching which came in iPhone OS 4 / iOS 4. Thanks to the latest update (v3.1.4) which is compatible with iOS 4.0.You can now switch between Facebook and Twitter apps or Email without having to start all-over again. SE Xperia X10 gets Firmware update , performance fixes

Sony Ericsson has announced a new firmware update for the XPERIA X10. It’s not going to bring Android 2.1 to the phone which will come later this year but it makes the phone faster.

This update focuses on improving the general performance, speed and responsiveness of Xperia X10. For example, there are speed improvements in messaging tasks and camera UI. In addition we add a free back up and restore application so you’ll never lose your settings and information. In selected markets, PlayNow™ with premium apps and games will also be added.

A Byte of Apple: Our weekly wrap on all news Apple!

It’s been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride for the little big company from Cupertino this past week. Despite AT&T’s best efforts to keep the iPhone 4 out of the hands of subscribers – we wrote about the server meltdowns that the overwhelming demand for the new iPhone had caused last week – the iPhone 4 hit eager hands starting June 24th and for some lucky folks who’d preordered, as much as a day earlier! And how it hit! Apple’s reported first three days sales of 1.7 million iPhone 4 models, besting launch records set by previous iPhone models, with the iPhone 3G and 3GS selling in the region of 1 million in the first weekend after launch. Almost makes the other news from last week – 3 million iPads sold in 80 days – pale in comparison, doesn’t it?

BOLT 2.1 Available for Download

Bitstream the company behind the Bolt Mobile Browser has released the 2.1 version of it’s BOLT Browser which was in a Beta for sometime. What’s cool is that the company is claiming that the browser has the best mobile browser video support. If that’s true then its some serious competition for Skyfire.  This version has HTML5 Video support in addition to Flash. Bollywood sites such as hungama and bollywoodhungama are supported.
