Google Docs app for Android updated, gets web clipboard feature and more language support


Google Docs for Android has been updated to version 1.0.16 that brings web clipboard feature that lets the users capture pictures with their Android phone and insert them into a Google document . The Google Docs app is now available in 46 languages.

New features in the Google Docs v1.0.16 for Android

  • Capture images from the phone using the camera icon in the Google docs app and insert it directly into the documents.
  • Open any Google document from your computer and click the Web Clipboard icon and select the item to paste into your doc
  • Open your documents with any compatible installed app
  • Send any document as an attachment through email, MMS, or any other app
  • Google Docs now supports 46 languages
